Understanding which items we can accept

Important: Rejection Policy

Items that fail to meet our quality standards will be rejected and NOT returned.

We do not cover return postage for rejected items. Please carefully review the condition guidelines below before submitting your trade to avoid disappointment.

Quality Control Process

Every item is inspected by our quality team upon receipt. Items must meet the criteria below to be accepted and paid for. We recommend only sending items you're confident meet these standards.

Books

Required Standards

  • Must Have Valid ISBN Barcode
    Books without ISBNs cannot be processed
  • Complete Book - No Missing Pages
    Every page must be present from start to finish
  • Clean Pages Without Heavy Marks
    Minimal underlining or light pencil marks acceptable
  • Cover Must Be Attached and Readable
    Light wear OK, but must not be falling apart
  • Dry and Odor-Free
    No dampness, mold, or smoke smell
  • Dust Jacket if Originally Included
    Hardbacks should have dust jacket if they came with one
  • Supplements Included
    CDs, DVDs, access codes if mentioned on cover

Automatic Rejection Criteria

  • Pages Missing or Torn Out
    Incomplete books will be rejected
  • Significant Water or Liquid Damage
    Warped, stained, or moldy pages
  • Excessive Writing or Highlighting
    Heavy annotations throughout (textbooks with answers filled in)
  • Severe Structural Damage
    Covers detached, spines broken, pages falling out
  • Unpleasant Odors
    Smoke, dampness, or musty smells
  • No ISBN Barcode
    Magazines, pamphlets, or unmarked books
  • ISBN Mismatch
    ISBN doesn't match what you scanned/submitted
  • Missing Dust Jacket
    If the book originally came with one
  • Missing Supplements
    CDs, DVDs, or materials mentioned on cover

Video Games, CDs & DVDs

Required Standards

  • Must Have Valid UPC/EAN Barcode
    Games without barcodes cannot be processed
  • Disc Must Play Without Errors
    We test all discs - they must be fully functional
  • Original Disc - No Copies
    Authentic games only, counterfeit items are rejected
  • Original Case with Artwork
    Must include cover art, manual/inserts if originally included
  • Console Games Accepted
    PlayStation (all versions), Xbox (all versions), Nintendo Switch
  • Minor Surface Wear OK
    Light scratches acceptable if disc plays perfectly
  • Barcode Must Match Submission
    UPC/EAN must match what you scanned

Automatic Rejection Criteria

  • PC Games - Not Currently Accepted
    We only accept console games at this time
  • Cracked or Broken Discs
    Any cracks or chips in the disc
  • Heavy Scratching
    Deep scratches that prevent proper playback
  • Disc Only - No Case
    Must have original case and artwork
  • Damaged or Generic Cases
    Severely damaged cases or replacement sleeves
  • Missing Artwork or Inserts
    Cover art and manuals must be present
  • Counterfeit or Copied Discs
    Pirated, burned, or reproduction copies
  • Barcode Mismatch
    UPC doesn't match what you submitted
  • Water Damage or Warping
    Cases or discs with moisture damage

Packaging Your Items

Proper packaging helps prevent damage during transit and ensures your items pass quality control.

Best Practices
  • Use sturdy cardboard boxes
  • Max weight: 15kg per box
  • Max size: 64cm x 41cm x 38cm
  • Pack items tightly to prevent movement
  • Use bubble wrap or paper for games/fragile items
  • Seal all boxes securely with strong tape
  • Stack books spine-down when possible
Avoid These Mistakes
  • Don't exceed 15kg per box
  • Don't exceed 64x41x38cm box size
  • Don't use damaged or weak boxes
  • Don't leave items loose inside boxes
  • Don't pack wet or damp items
  • Don't use plastic bags as primary packaging
  • Don't mix books with heavy games on top
Transit Damage

While we understand that items may be damaged during shipping, items damaged in transit may still be rejected if they no longer meet our quality standards. Proper packaging minimizes this risk.

Note: Our pricing algorithm automatically adjusts based on market demand and sales rank. Better condition items may fetch premium prices.
